Happy Birthday to Shi Hui

Specially dedicated to Shi Hui...

29 June is Shi Hui's birthday and this is the first birthday post that I've ever written for a friend

I knew her since I was 10 years old...I moved to a new house and it was one house apart from hers...We was in the same class in Standard 4...Basically we were in the same class since then(except Standard 5) until we finished SPM...Then we went to the same matriculation college and got the same course in same university...

I want to write more about us but I just dunno how to summarize...Haha...

Thanks a million to you, Shi Hui...You always give me encouragement...

Happy 23rd birthday to you and wish you achieve all your dreams...(请原谅我老土的贺词)

This photo taken two years ago was purposely selected to show our younger face...ok la, the fact is that we actually don't have much pictures showing two of us only...

Busy, Busy and Busy

I don't know why I feel that I'm so busy...A lot of things to revise but I can't even read more than 10 pages before I fall asleep...Everyday go to the ward before sunrise and go back after sunset....Sigh...My time management is useless...

Can't often update my blog with lots of movies and food ady...

Time just slips through my fingers very fast but yet it's just one week after I came back from Teluk Intan...It seems like ages...

Many things happened in these few days...
Michael Jackson kicked the bucket...but it has nothing to do with me...
My matric card was broken into two accidentally...
I finally did a blood culture but still don't dare to do ABG and branula...My lame excuse is--no chance...

This post is just so random that I wrote whatever in my mind...1.51am---dun expect sleepy lazy bug's mind to function well...

Papa Brought The Rain

Actually I wrote this post yesterday but somehow it wasn't saved...

Yesterday it was raining cats and dogs...The rain was so heavy that some trees were falling down and blocked the road that we wanted to take...Even bomba was there to remove the trees...You know why this was happening? 'Cause my dear father came to visit me...It's my mom who teased him about it...One of the reasons for them to come was that I broke down too frequent recently...Second reason that I postulate was that he didn't want my mom to nag him for the rest of his life about him never leaving his job for his daughters...Oh ya, yesterday was his day-off. What a pity job in restaurant, the boss wants to earn more money and my dad get to rest only once a month...It's abuse! Oops, digress a bit...The first time he came to visit me when I was studying in KL was 2 years ago...I was admitted to hospital due to dengue fever...(I doubt that diagnosis.)

Anyway I was very happy that I could see them...I know I ain't a filial daughter because it's a tiring journey for both of them...I really hope that I won't disappointed them but I give up hope pretty easily...

Venepuncture

What is it?
Basically it's taking blood from the vein...

Today I went to the medical wards in early morning with the hope to finish signing the remaining four venepuntures in my log book...(I got 3 in the end)

Previously I chose the easy one to take so that I'll not lose my confidence...Today I tried to take the difficult one but fail...I even doubt that I couldn't take the easy one...Most of the time, I was sure that I felt the vein despite it's invisible...However the blood just didn't come out...

There was a 16-year-old girl with the diagnosis of dengue fever. However her veins were not prominent partly due to her petite size. She was very afraid of pain and her mom was watching every step that I did...I got palpitation under her scrutinization...Needless to say, I failed although I was confident...Or should I said my luck wasn't working? I was very upset. However, later on I was told by my friend that it wasn't my problem because even the house officer was taking a long time to take her blood...What a relief..

As a final year student, I know I should practise on difficult patient more often...I guess I'll do that after I complete my log book...Haha...

Regret

Finally I came back from Teluk Intan...I knew I had wasted lots of time and many golden opportunities in that hospital but I couldn't help myself...
I couldn't suppress my depression...I thought I am always able to adapt myself to different new environment but now I realize how fragile I am...
Yes, I regret of taking this path...I don't know what can keep me going on...I've heard other people having more pressure than me...I know I should be greatful...
I hate hypocrite but they aren't wrong...
Life is all about acting...
Acting that you care for people who you don't...
Acting that you are interested in what you don't...
I hope I can learn from them so that I can evolve to 100% hypocrite...
If you can't beat them, join them...

17 Again

Much better than Hannah Montanna the movie...
It's the last movie before I go to Teluk Intan...One week is not a long duration but at this moment I just feel like it's more than that...

Back to the movie, it's more than what I expected and thus I am satisfied with it...

Zac Efron acted cool with his basketball skill but the entertaining parts were he lost in a fight and was slapped many times by a few people...Haha

First Day in Medicine Posting

Finally it's the first day of medicine posting in final year. No matter how reluctant I am, I can't stop the time flying...
I spent my first day in Dermatology Department in Hospital Kuala Lumpur after attending a briefing in PPUKM. Today everything went quite smoothly. From ward, day care to clinic. Just that I have a lot of reading to do in order to catch up.
Next week I'll go to Hospital Teluk Intan...I thought my luggage was going to hibernate after I came back from PPD+BTN camp but seems like it's not...Haha...
Jia you Jia you...At least I'm not going to HKL tomorrow...
P/s: Have to leave my beloved blog for the time I stay in Teluk Intan...Sigh...

Hannah Montana The Movie

That was a change in plan. Hence I watched 'Hannah Montana The Movie' instead of '17 again'.

Actually I was quite bored at the starting of the movie. However, it was a bit touching when she realized that people around her, especially her father, had sacrificed a lot for her. As usual, Disney stories will end with happy endings...Hannah got her prince charming, her fans liked the way she was, and the so-called paparazzo stopped digging secret from her.

Rosy Business 巾幗梟雄

I just finished watching the last two episodes of this drama.

RosyBusiness

It was actually one of the initial things I did once I came back from the camp in Besut. I was grateful that it ended in time since I’ll be starting my medicine posting coming monday.

This drama was quite good for me in comparison with the last tvb drama that I watched(桌球天王). The acting skill of the two main characters, i.e. Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai, was of no doubt.

Emm, now I should continue unpacking my stuff and clean my room...

Tomorrow I'm going to watch '17 again'...yeah!
