Hong Kong trip part 1

17 May 2011

We reached wei xiong’s house in Sungai Pelek around 12am…After getting only 3 hours of sleep, we woke up and go to airport as the flight was around 7 sth…Xiong drove quite fast to the airport and we only took half and hour to reach LCCT…

This was the name of hostel that we stayed…it’s strategically located in Mong Kok…HKD160 per night for one person…Oh ya, I forgot to mention that we spent HKD 33 to travel form airport to our hostel by bus…

Our room was small but clean…The only thing that was a bit intolerable was the toilet…As u can see, the space was really limited. Furthermore the water temperature of the shower was difficult to control…

This was the surrronding…Malaysia’s flag?

After check in, the first thing we did was to find food! Recommended by the uncle guard of the building that we stayed, we went to a shop that I have forgotten the name…

haha…

I dunno how may eggs tarts we had taken in Hong Kong…haha…And I ordered a French toast for the first day(I was restraining myself to order French toast in each cha can teng that we visited but indulge in ordering instant noodles!)…I dun like Hong Kong’s milk tea as it tasted  too milky…I don’t like milk…

Next station of food Hunting…

The mango with the riceballs was the best among the three…Overall, we were a bit disappointed as the mango tasted like Malaysia’s, not as special as some people have said, but worth a try…

With full and satisfied stomach, we proceeded to Avenue of Stars, which is also a place for u to watch Symphony of light at night(started at 8pm).

IMG_0064The famous Bruce Lee who was non-stopped surrounded by crowd who wanted to take a snap with him…

Honestly, the Symphony of light was boring for me…

After that we went to Ladies Market which was just a stone throw away from our hostel…The goodies were nearly all the same along the street…we didn’t dare to ask for price as those merchant were quite fierce…

Then wei xiong bought some street food and I bought 鸡蛋仔which disappointed me.

That’s all for the first day of the trip…

Kung Fu Panda 2

very sien thinking of working and oncall tmr, so i went out to watch movie alone in stead of growing mushroom in my room...quite funny one...
