We were planning to watch The Hundred Foot Journey but the tickets sold out. Watched Ninja Turtles instead. No surprise.

LASIK
Finally had LASIK done on 7.2.14 in Prince Court Medical Centre.
Today is day one post op. feel so much better as compared to yesterday. Yesterday I hardly could open my eyes due to the dryness. Have to diligently apply eyedrops as instructed. Now the vision is good but of course not 100% perfect yet. Hopefully have an uneventful recovery.👍
Vision still kinda foggy. Knowing that it is only day 3 but still feel anxious.
13.2.14 (Day 6 post op)
Vision has become clear and no more foggy! Still have illusion that I am wearing glasses and occasionally try to adjust my glasses but find out that it is no longer there.

Everything seems to be fine. Occasionally there will be eye dryness but I was told that I have eye dryness even before the LASIK. Vision is not 100% perfect with one eye closed but near perfect with both eyes open. Have yet to check the power!

First Taobao Experience
I have been yearning to buy something at taobao.com for quite some time. However, I was afraid of buying useless stuffs and waste my money. Recently, I found a good reason for shopping - I need a bagpack and can't find a suitable one in the market. Hey, why not I just take it as an experiment of buying from taobao.
Tadaa....This is the bag that I ordered on 6/1/14...I have yet to received it but I am very eager to see the quality of the product. It costed me RMB 99 (RMB 100.xx after added 1.5% service fee.) I used international parcel forwarding from taobao, unlike the usual Daigou. Shipping was RMB 49 (35 for the 1st kg, and 14 for the subsequent 1 kg (The price varies among the 4 companies available.)
Everyday I check the website to see the where my package is transferred...Excited! (Again...). Shall update again once I see the bag...

1st Jan 2014
New Year without new resolutions as usual- maybe I know I won't strive to fulfill anything. Haha.
Anyway, a blog post on first day of 2014 to kick start the year and of course to clean the spiderweb of my blog also! (which by the way is back dated but pretend to be written on the same day by its lazy owner.)
Surprisingly, an outing on 1/1/2014 was out of my expectation. I thought I would only rot in the room for the whole day. We went to Pavillion to watch Police Story 2013 which I really wished the movie end as soon as possible. Before watching movie, we had dinner at Ippudo. Really like the ramen although hubby thought that the soup tasted too porky.
First time uploading photos taken by the new camera , Canon EOS-M, which was bought on Christmas eve. Buying this camera is another story of how I can be easily influenced by the salesman. All the surveys for Nikon D5200 and Canon 700D have gone down the drain. Despise myself. But honestly, maybe mirrorless camera, as compared to DSLR, is more suitable for lazy people like me.
