This year didn’t go anywhere special for birthday but at least must have a special birthday dinner for both of us : )

Gratin of asparagus with Champagne sabayon and black truffles

Medley of imported lettuces, goose liver terrine, confit gizzards, smoked duck, Cognac sultanas vinaigrette
*we didn't purposely order for goose liver but can taste it from the salad portion...
Grilled sea scallops with wild mushroom fricassee and Port wine sauce
*satisfied by the size of scallops
Main course
Mountain honey roasted duck breast, confit shallots and fricassee of vegetables with sundried tomatoes
Grilled chicken breast with morels mushroom sauce, fresh herbs risotto and caramelized carrots

Crème brulée with raspberries
*too sour for my liking…prefer the mango tiramisu…
